3 Noble Products for Every Barn

Creeping into the Summer season, horse people have a lot to look forward to. Summer brings tan lines, shiny horses, showing, and warm weather! The wonderful people at Noble Outfitters have been working all winter to prepare the health products necessary in every barn this season. I know that these three Noble products will be abundant in my barn this summer to keep my horses happy and well!

Guardsman Fly Mask

I would not put another fly mask on my horses. The Guardsman fly mask is engineered for durability and comfort. The mask has a flex spline technology that creates a canopy above the horse’s eyes. This design keeps the mesh off the horse’s eyes and off the points of the face. The uniquely contoured fit keeps the mask in place and the flies locked out!

UV Coated Mesh

High quality UV coated mesh is lined with rip-stop protection to withstand the elements. In other words, the mask will last! I also appreciate the breath-ability of the mesh in that my horses can wear their masks in the mid-July Georgia heat without a problem. Even more so, I have found the UV protective coating to be highly effective, and my pink faced mare appreciates not having to be coated with sun block under her mask everyday.

A Mask for Every Face

The Guardsman fly mask comes in S,M,L,XL, & 2XL. It is available with ears and without, and every mask comes with a removable nose extension. Because of the canopy effect created by Flex Spline technology, you can tighten the mask from the double-sided hook and loop closures without worrying about pulling the mask against your horse’s eyes!

Wound Care

Noble’s Wound Care is my go-to pack along for horse shows, trail rides, and around the farm use. Wound Care Spray is a veterinarian recommended, patented formulation for general equine wound care. The product is non-toxic, non-irritating, and is made with food-grade safe ingredients. It is safe in a horse’s eyes, ears, and mouth. It is also safe to mix Wound Care with other ointments, dressings, and treatments.

Wound Care is Ideal for:

Abrasions, Post-Surgical Sites, Rashes, Ring Worm, Rain Rot, Fungus, Scratches, Superficial Wounds

The other cool thing about Wound Care is that it’s an extremely practical product. The formula is heat and cold resistant and long lasting, so it survives in even the stuffiest trailer. The pocket-sized sprayers make it easy to pack along for long rides as well.

Bio-Security Wash

This formula is genius. Bio-Security wash is a deep penetrating formula designed to clean and disinfect buckets, floors, stall walls, fences, and other equipment. The formula is dye free, biodegradable, non-corrosive, and non-toxic. It is proven to neutralize known pathogens such as E. coli, salmonella, staphylococcus, listeria, & EHV-1. I use this product to disinfect my trailer, show stalls, and equipment on a regular basis!

Madison Maavere

Hello, I am a young professional in the equine industry with a passion for improving horses' physical health and emotional wellness. I grew up riding horses in north Georgia and by the time I was 10, I decided I wanted to ride professionally. This dream grew into the mountain that I climbed every day, striving to reach the top. Until I was 16, I did not have my own horses, so I began diving whole-heartedly into any barn that would allow me to work off rides, training, and showing. While this path may not have gotten me the most blues in the show ring, it opened my eyes and my heart to the vastness of the horse world and how perception based it can be. When I was 16, my family moved out on 6 acres so I could have my horses at home (IE, so my family could see me on a daily basis), and for this, I am truly grateful. Running my own farm, albeit small, was liberating and humbling, and it revealed to me that my passion was not so much for riding sport, but for the love of the horse. Fast forward 6 years, and I am well into my final year as an undergraduate Equine Science/Management major at the University of Kentucky. I have been so fortunate in the opportunities I've received here and the relationships I've been able to build. The cutting edge research, quality horsemanship, and innovative businesses located around Lexington, KY have given me a strong sense of reality, and inspired me to really look at where I can make an impact in today's horse world. What I've realized is that while I like equestrian sports, I love the horse. Moreover, I love to help the horse. I want it to be happy and relaxed, to be sound and comfortable, to eat well and be healthy. I want the horse to have every defense against pathalogical disease, and I want it to have skill sets that people value so it can live a long, loved life. In this love, I feel called to advocate for the horse. I want to learn everything I can about how to improve horses' sustainable wellness, and I want to share what I learn so that horsemen of all experience, backgrounds, and goals can feel inspired and enabled to improve their horses' lives. It is my true desire to initiate and spread a dynamic in which horses are not for the industry, but the industry is for the horses.
